Location, Location, Location

You’ve all heard that old expression that the three most important factors in real estate are: location, location, location.  Do you know the answer to this question: What are the three most important factors affecting industrial and technical B2B marketing?  Hands down it is repetition, repetition, and repetition.  But today, because of the internet, “location, location, and location” are equally important.

The first “location” is to be visible in-print and online to prospective customers.  By having your products and services featured consistently, you will compete for mindshare and visibility when they have a need your product or service fills.

The second “location” relates to internet search.  If prospects are aware of a “need” and Google it, then you want your products to show up on the first page of their search to increase your chances of a website visit.  That involves being published in quality websites which creates “link popularity” and positively affects the rankings of search engines.  This is especially true for Google because their PageRank system is based upon the links from well established and popular websites as opposed to the specific characteristics of a document.

The third “location” is page location and extent of news coverage.  It is the most important location because editors are creating awareness of a problem for which your product or service might offer a solution.  In addition to creating the aforementioned link-popularity, this location is where the editor is telling your story for you and this “third party endorsement” carries a lot of weight.  Think about it, when Apple makes news by introducing a new iPhone, its stock price soars.  News will also increase the value of your company, regardless of its size.

At Venmark International, we understand what editors are looking for and how to fulfill their requirements by positioning your products and services as problem-solvers in the right media outlets.  Having prepared over 15,000 product releases and recognized by the media as “the best in the business,” we can increase the odds of getting your products or services featured prominently in-print and online.  It is this old school ability to compete for the best space and page position available that distinguishes Venmark International.  And it also drives the most traffic to your website!
