New Business Development Using Product Publicity

Stafford Manufacturing Corp. is a leading manufacturer of shaft collars, couplings, and specialized mechanical drive and structural components. In fact, the company is well recognized as a single source for all types of shaft collars and couplings.  When I began working with Arthur Stafford back in 1977, the company was a three man machine shop.

Over the years, Stafford has used product publicity consistently to create new sales and marketing opportunities and support distributors.  Stafford’s product line was born from industrial applications and in addition to supporting those, we’ve been consistently searching for new uses.  Product publicity has been a primary tool for their market diversification.

Stafford Clip 001 Plastics Distributor

This press clip from “Plastics Distributor & Fabricator” magazine illustrates how an effective press release can “talk to an audience.”  We’re pleased the editors chose to present this line of plastic shaft components to their readers.  Hopefully several distributors will contact Stafford for distribution opportunities.  Product publicity is a great way to open up new distribution channels and develop new business.
